I've tried a few other pillows to increase the knee comfort of my garden kneeler. They were *okay* but this one is absolutely perfect! The resistance of the padding is strong enough that your knees don't sink to the bottom and the padding is exactly soft enough to protect painful knees. I spent my grade school years in Catholic school kneeling on a wooden kneeler for morning Mass 5 days a week. My knees were never the same after that. (Thankfully, they have now added padding to the kneelers!) I don't want to give up gardening in my golden years and the garden kneeler with handles seemed like the perfect solution. Now, with the added padding, it's literally the answer to a prayer and I can continue to garden! Additionally, the other night, after running the self-cleaner on the oven, I was able to easily kneel down to wipe the oven walls without pain. A real win-win for someone who wants to remain interdependent! I can imagine lots of other household jobs that will be so much easier with the combination of the garden kneeler and its thick knee protection. Great product - I'm SO happy I found it!

I bought this as a gift for our church's deacon. He has health issues with his knees. He kneels at certain times during our services. He said he was in heaven the first time he used the cushion. He said it was both sturdy and comfortable. He said if was too soft it would be too difficult to get up from the kneeling position and thus be a distraction at the service. Instead it was soft but did not make him unsteady when he rose. He can discreetly move, use and store it with the handle provided on the end of the cushion.

Finding a kneeling pad thick enough for comfort was a challenge. Was not planning to spend so much, but my husband finds it painful when he needs to get down on his knees to fix things. He was hesitant to do anything that needed to be done in a kneeling position. This pad really did the trick. My husband and I are in the choir at church. During Mass there are a few times that we have to kneel. I'm 49 and had surgery on my left knee ten years ago so it can be sensitive/painful. I did some research on kneelers and decided to try these out. They're a little more expensive than the other kneelers but totally worth every penny. I use this for my prayer time and it is perfect. I'm able to kneel for a good half hour without discomfort. It is very sturdy {I'm 200 lbs plus and its soft and comfortable. The little strap is perfect for picking it up and I store it next to my bed. The height is just right...most that I looked at were much shorter in height. The cover has a zipper that is hidden. I am guessing it is for cleaning it.

Bought this kneeling pad for my prayer time. It does help and quite sturdy. But for a long time prayer, I place two yoga blocks underneath and kneel on it, it is even more comfortable.

This is such a beautiful looking kneeling cushion! The fabric fees and looks luxurious and it is well constructed. The foam holds up when I kneel on the cushion and it is still sight enough to a hoot out of the way for vacuuming or whatever. I prefer to pray on my knees but that became a no go, so when I want to, this allows me to kneel. It has a handle, but I dont foresee taking it anywhere. Good purchase.
